January 08, 2020Reviewer: James in Maryland* Very tasty! I didn't get a very strong caramel taste, but very much banana. The outside gets slightly crunchy while the inside stays really moist. Don't be afraid to let them brown a bit if you want to get that outside crunchy texture. When you pull them out of the oven they might seem a bit moist, but they are likely done if you let them bake the 18 or 20 minutes. Stick in a toothpick and if it comes out clean, they are done. I would never have guessed these as using a sugar substitute. Really great warm about an hour out of the oven.
